The Soil Group utilises a very wide range of waste material in its manufacture of new soil suitable for commercial crop production, our soils support and encourage a wide range of natural bacteria and fungi.
Materials utilised in our soils include non mixed waste made from computer circuit boards, television and monitor screen glass and waste rubber that has been through pyrolosis.
In part, the rationale behind this is to show how sterile, low nutrient materials can be successfully used to grow healthy, productive crops and that some of these applications can be used in mainstream soils to enrich and restore cropping areas.
