It lends itself to soil engineering works with an excellent low bulk density & structure. This is a textural soil that can bind and forms excellent balance of macro and micro pores giving an optimum soil structure.
The Soil less soil has a high water infiltration rate as well as good water retention with some interesting capillary rise abilities. The product has a slow nutrient release and the ability to hold on to applied nutrients.
The product can be manufactured anywhere where there is a suitable waste stream in the UK, Europe or further abroad thus reducing carbon footprint. There is a large amount of waste available for production across UK and Europe and the production has a low energy requirement to manufacture.
